Three common questions.
If yours isn’t here, see our full FAQ — or just ask on the form above.
What should I bring to my first appointment?
Comfortable clothing you can move in — layers are useful since some assessment work happens lying down. Any relevant imaging, surgical reports, or PT notes from prior providers if you have them. A list of any medications. That’s it. We’ll send a short intake form ahead of the visit; bring it filled out or arrive ten minutes early.
How quickly can I get an appointment?
Most patients are seen within a week. Free consultations can usually happen sooner — sometimes the same week, often by phone first if that’s easier. We’ll work around your schedule when we follow up.
Do I need a referral to book?
No. Maryland is a direct-access state, so you can start PT here without a referral from a physician. Some insurance plans may require a referral for out-of-network reimbursement — we’ll flag that on the consultation if it applies to you.
